Hi Ladies, Kind of a strange question here. Just curious to know how you would describe (or your spouse) the feel of your implants when standing up, laying down, ect. When you lay flat on your back are they still really squishy? Do they feel like balls under the skin that you can move around, or more like an underfined sponge like material. I love the way they look clothed and unclothed, I am just curious how they feel on different people. Does your husband like them more now or before? Tell me anything you can think of. Since the majority of us cannot do "feel tests" before we get them it would be nice to know how others percieve them in their own body and how your partner percieves them. NO LAUGHING AT ME NOW!!! Were all wonder this right?! LADIES LETS MAKE THIS THE LARGEST REPLY EVER ON THIS BOARD! WE ARE ALL CURIOUS! TealCamaroGirl -- |

| Hi. Its funny you asked that question , i have wondered myself if everyones feel the same. OK here goes i guess if i am laying on my back the top part would be a little squishy but if you realy grap them they are more like hard big odd shapped balls. When i stand up they are not as squishy . I asked my husband that if he didnt no they were implats would he know just by touching them? He said YES!!! Does he like them ? Well he tells me yes but he really dont pay that much atention to them almost like he is afraid of them . What matters is I like them ! |

I guess I should reply to my own email so we all know what the others feel like. We would like all ladies to reply to this so don't be shy. Okay... I have the cohesive gels (silicone) so they start out firmer anyways, but when I lay flat on my back they are like rocks (not really, but very firm); very little squish factor going on! I have very little breast tissue left (I was a deflated B- cup) so that could be a factor. When I stand straight up I can move the implant around like a water balloon. I can press on them and squish them like one of the stess ball you find in the toy stores. When I lean over they are at their squishiest. They look awesome and I love them, however they are noticeable to the touch, but not noticeable whenviewed though. My husband tried to touch them when I was laying down and hasn't tried since. I think he is turned on by the way they look, but is not much into touching them. I went to a family reunion with a bunch of loud mouth women relatives and NOBODY mentioned a word or gave me a second look. WOO-HOO. Oh, my breast tissue is still rather squishy, but the implant underneath has a different type of squishiness, and is very firm. Okay who is next to answer this question that we all want to know! Lets make this the largest reply ever on this board, because women desperatly want to know this. TealCamaroGirl MEMBER2MEMBER VOLUNTEER -- |

I have the silicone gels and they feel like a real breast, just slightly firmer. I have felt silicone ones too, 610 CCs, over the muscle. Hers felt very soft and squishy, I could tell there was an implant. My husband doesn't ever touch mine, he's more of an butt guy. Jamie |

Jamie, did you have the cohesive gel (gummy bear implants) or the regular gel? Are they still squishy when you lay down. I wonder if the squishiness is better going over the muscle. TCG -- |

Me next! Me next! Mine are fairly firm which I don't like at all but Brad doesn't seem to mind too much. I don't really like him squeezing them and such b/c they feel fake to ME. They are soft and movable when I just poke them but if I grab them they feel hard. When I lay down they feel about the same as standing. I think standing they are a little softer. The next time I have a redo I'm thinking about going with the Grade I Silicone(the softer kind). We'll see but they'll be silicone of some type, that's for sure. Nessa |

Yeah I have the gummy bear ones. Mine are very firm when I lay down, and I'm submuscular. Jamie |

Hello TCG, You can count me in on your survey Rose -- |

THis is great.. I love it. Well I don't know if I will be much help with your survey but here goes it. Don't have much to compare I guess they are softer than before cause all you felt was ribs I had nothing but a nipple. So they are softer than bone. Sad but true. When I lay down they are firmer than when I stand up. But I can not feel where the implant begins and ends except for at the very bottom and they are softer there than at the upper part. I can move them arround when I do my exercises. But just to grab them and move them I can not do. I Really hope they don't get any softer. But they might I am only 8 weeks post-op. Felt really funny when they first started bouncing when I walked fast, or turned a certain way.. that was wierd..Had to ask was that normal and they laughed at me. My husband Said they felt soft to him but hasn't said a whole lot yet, guess cause they are still new ..time will tell. The survey is very interesting to read hope you get more response. Mine are menter cohesvie gel 425cc. and so far I have no complaints---hope it stays that way Tjane |

Interesting, I have been wondering about this. Mine are soft...but firmer than my former self, when I am standing up I feel normal tissue on top and the firmness if I press on my breast, when I lie down they are sort of balls that move around on my chest. Not really hard, just firm. My husband likes them and says they feel okay and he really likes the way I look in my new bras. My BA day is April 11, 350 cc saline unders, 36 A to full C. I am 5'2" and 130 #. Thanks! Jules |

My surgury is scheduled for August 4 and I am so happy that you asked this question. It is true that you can not feel them before you get them and my DH wanted to test some out to see if he could tell the difference. I told him he would just have to wait. LOL I was so interested in the responce to your post that I dropped what I was doing to read every post. I hope more women reply with their results so us new girls know what to expect. Thanks again, Char |

Hi Ladies! My breasts are squishy while standing, but definitely have the firmness that goes along with it. While I'm laying down they're like these two mounds. My DH refers to them as "The Mountains". Okay, I just asked my DH and he said mine are fine and he has no complaints, BUT his opinion is original breasts (any size) are the best because you can manipulate them more. -- |

| I will ad this,my implants feel very natural to the touch, laying down..its just nice to see something there!!! I had my b/a 12 weeks ago. They were high and very firm the first month......they dropped in place and look so natural like they belong to me. I can not lay on my stomach and be confortable..AT ALL......My husband will tell me ,He loved me the way I was before and Im just more to love now...Truth be told,he is a breast man. I feel better about myself since my b/a. I just wish they were mine naturally,I dont care for the ideal of something foreign being in my body. The p/s I had is one of the BEST...he is a artist, and he makes woman look so natural...I dont like fake looking breats. Some woman have boob jobs that are screaming FAKE...huge ,high up on the chest, that look was not for me. Im very pleased with my out come. If I flex my chest muscles, lifting weights,or just doing chest exercises I can feel my implants move up and down....that feels a bit strange to me....I try to feel the shell of the implant, and so far I cant ....I had my b/a done under the muscle.I have no rippling,no pain to speak of,still a bit numb on the incisions.....if I press into the implants straight on..its NOT confortable by the breast bone,so I dont do that! Over all Im happy with my decision to have a b/a,just hope the scares fade away in time....still very noticable but under the crease.....hope thats enough input. |
